Mpho Popps Modikoane brings a very current and unique viewpoint onto the big comedy playing field.
Mpho is a comic for the here and now; young, street smart, well educated, well spoken and well dressed. His face is widely recognised from billboards, Nando’s ads, Television, online and print media. He has also just launched his 3rd year of MiWay commericals, which will be out in September.
He has headlined at major comedy shows, alongside Trevor Noah and Marc Lottering, and the Blacks Only comedy festival with David Kau and Chris Forrest, and the Just Because Comedy Festival at the Market. In his spare time, he teaches disadvantaged children about comedy and the comedy industry.
